Factory Builders 

Member factory builders of the Canadian Manufactured Housing Institute (CMHI) deliver homes throughout Canada, the United States and other countries around the world. All CMHI-member factory builders are certified through the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). The factory and the homes produced are inspected to make sure they meet the CSA standards, which certify that the homes meet all applicable building, electrical and plumbing codes where they will be located. Manufactured Housing Consultants 

CMHI's Manufactured Housing Consultant (MHC)^® Program provides training for retailers and salespeople. Those who successfully complete course and testing requirements earn the designation “MHC”—the mark of the professionals in the manufactured housing industry. A Manufactured Housing Consultant (MHC)^®:

• has solid knowledge of the industry, the homes and the marketplace
• guides customers through the homebuying process from beginning to end
• is dedicated to professionalism and service excellence
• is committed to a strong Code of Ethics
